Progress anyone?
How are you doing with your shawls? Fifteen of the 144 starters have finished their shawls - Great Job! Check the Gallery to see photos of both shawls-in-progress and completed beauties.
This knitalong will stay active indefinitely so feel free to join us - send me your name and I will add you to the list. (Replace the words AT and DOT with the appropriate symbols) shopATknit1bead2DOTcom
I would also love to have more pictures of completed shawls for the gallery - hint, hint :-)
How's my shawl progressing? Thanks for asking but it is not done yet - I tend to save it for car-knitting time. When I get to the bind off, I will post some additional pictures of how to bind off LOOSELY.

I am about 1/3 of the way through my shawl. I will post photos as soon as I can
I just found this site and I happen to be at the beginning of a triangle shawl, so I'd like to join y'all.
I am using alpaca yarn and size 11 needles so it will be lightweight and lacy for my daughter to use as either a shawl or a hip wrap. The pattern I am using is from Folk Shawls and it's called Lacy Prairie Shawl.
I have made one other shawl in Homespun in the basic garter triangle pattern and numerous baby blankets with the same concept, too.
BTW, I'm Patti - I live in GA and I am a member of Knitting 4 Children and several other Yahoo knitting groups.
My shawl is now wide enough but not quite long enough so i am making the top abit square. I am on the homeward slide
I've gotten as far as Renee has. I will post pictures when I finish it. Hope to be done soon.
