Join us for a SIMPLE, first sweater Knitalong. The sweater will be done from the top down, all in one piece ( no sewing together :-) on circular needles.

You will be able to try it on as you go to ensure a perfect fit.

We will be using (your choice) of the Knitting Pure and Simple patterns:

Be sure to pick one that is labeled Top-Down. They come in a good variety of sizes. You will need to purchase a pattern - they are less than $5. Check your local yarn shop first - lots of shops carry them. There is also a list of mail order shops on the website.

These are exceptionally well written patterns that I use to teach beginners, i.e. someone who has made a few scarves and is ready for something new :-)

You may choose to add simple shaping (I made one much more fitted by using smaller needles through the waistline) or you may want to add short row shaping for upper back curves, bust, etc. We will discuss this as we go.
