Top-down -
love the way this Noro Iroha yarn color blocks!
Use a crocheted
cast-on (look it up on the web)...make a small square. Pick-up stitches
along the sides with double pointed needles. Increase at eight points
- I do one in from the first stitch on each needle and then (using
a marker) one in the middle of each needle. Increase every other
row until the cap is as wide as you like then work even until it
is as long as you like.
To make ear
flaps - work short rows (look them up on the web) on two opposite
needles until you are down to the tip. I finished my cap with a
row of crab stitch (backwards single crochet.)
If you need
more instructions than this - you will have to THINK for yourself
about what you want to do :-)
