We have done this one in a ton of different combination of Kid Silk Haze with Joy.

yards fine mohair/silk
65 yards bulky yarn - Joy
US 17 needles
Cast
on 40 stitches.
1. Knit five rows with thin yarn. Cut yarn and tie on the bulky yarn.
2. Knit one row with bulky yarn. Cut yarn and tie on the thin yarn.
Repeat
rows 1 and 2 until you run out of yarn - bind off loosely.
Wash, block, and wear with pride!
Advanced skills - try one or more!
A.
Use both yarns to cast on - long tail or Twisted German Cast On.
B. Cast on an additional four stitches and decrease them away in the first
knitted row. This will make your cast on edge more stretchy.
C. Cast off with a huge (S) crochet hook to make your cast off edge more
stretchy.
