Pattern for baby sized socks in Koigu Kersti
4 mm needles - 6 stitches and 8 rows to the inch

CO 32
Knit 28 rows
On 16 stitches work heel stitch for 16 rows, slipping the first stitch of each row

Turn heel by:
k8, k2tog, k1, turn, leaving 5 stitches unworked
p8, p2tog, p1, leaving 5 stitches unworked
Continue heel turning by decreasing across the gap on each row and working stitches as set up ending with a right side row.

Gusset:
Pick up 8 stitches along the side of the flap. Work across instep. Pick up 8 stitches along the other side of the heel flap. Work remaining stitches.

Work one round even
Decrease at either side of gusset every other row until you are down to 32 st

Foot - work 10 rows
Toe - Decrease 4 st. evenly placed every other row until you have 16 st.
Kitchner toe.
